PFMS or The Public Finance Management System is a web application launched in 2009 to track the funds released by the Government of India on behalf of the Indian public. It is a collaboration of the Government of India, Ministry of Finance, Ministry of Expenditure and Comptroller General of Accounts that gave rise to the idea of ​​PFMS.

The main task of the PFMS platform is to make the flow of funds transparent along with the payments made according to the management of the public financial system. Registration guidelines

Here are some of the important instructions and guidelines to keep in mind when completing the PFMS Registration Form:

  1. The form must be filled out in all capital letters only and all required fields are mandatory.
  2. Only authorized government officials fill out this form to register. Registrations are only made for the email domains gov.in and nic.in.
  3. Applicants must provide the correct active mobile phone number and email address in order to receive OTP and other important details required for enrollment.
  4. After proper verification of all details, a PFMS activation link will be sent to the applicant via email, which the applicant must use to verify their profile as soon as possible.
  5. Only after profile verification does the account become active after 24 hours.
  6. The applicant must purchase a NIC-VPN certificate as PFMS is restricted over VPN
  7. The Registered Officer must ensure that his  PFMS ID is deactivated in the event of a resignation or transfer

PFMS Know Your Payment

Follow these steps to know the status of your payment:

  1. Visit the portal
  2. click Know your payment, which you can find on the home page.
  3. A page will appear where you need to provide details such as bank name and account number.
  4. Next, confirm your bank account number.
  5. Write the captcha code.
  6. Click Send OTP
  7. Enter the OTP you must have received on your mobile phone number, then send.

You should soon receive your payment status.
