LIC Policy and Aadhaar Using Online Mode to Connect
To finish the process, follow the simple steps listed below:
Step 1: Go to www.licindia.in, the LIC’s official website.
Step 2: A flashing tab that says “Link Aadhaar and PAN to policy” can be found right on the homepage. Select the button.
Step 3: It will be redirected to a new website; attentively read all of the instructions. Select “Proceed” from the drop-down menu.
Step 4: On the new page, enter your name, date of birth, and Aadhaar number as they appear on your Aadhaar card.
Step 5: Select the gender by checking the box.
Step 6: Fill up the email address, PAN number, UIDAI mobile number, and policy number. Select “Add Policy” from the drop-down menu.
Step 7: Next, enter the Captcha in the appropriate box; if in doubt, click the “Refresh Captcha” link.
Step 8: Select “Get OTP ” from the drop-down menu and enter the OTP received to your UIDAI-registered mobile number: A notice about the successful linkage of Aadhaar and policy will appear on the screen once you’ve completed the process. After a few days, the verification message will be issued through mail or SMS.
If you’re applying for a new LIC insurance, you’ll need to include your Aadhar and PAN numbers with your application. Before issuing a new policy, LIC completes the connecting process.
Aadhaar Number and LIC Policy Offline Method of Linking
If you don’t have access to the internet or don’t feel comfortable using the online option, you can request an offline seeding of your LIC policy and Aadhaar number. The following are the few steps that are required for the linking:
Step 1: Download the LIC-Aadhaar connecting form or request one at your nearest LIC branch.
Step 2: Input all of the policy numbers you want to link.
Step 3: Remember to include a self-attested photocopy of your Aadhar card as well as your PAN card/Form 60.
Step 4: Finally, sign over the “Signature of the Policyholder.”
Step 5: Complete the linking process by submitting the documents to the official.
